Hair: Salt and pepper. A few inches long.
Eyes: Winter blue.

FIRST IMPRESSION:

Jasper comes off as very cowboy calm. He either plays the stone-faced vampire, or the affable Texan wrangler type. He's in his sunset years, or was when he became a vampire, but there's a zeal to him that belies that physical age. He's also very up to date with modern technology and lingo, and comes off as very middle American.

VOICE:

Likely born and raised in Bolivia, he left there and trekked his way to Texas when he was a boy. He seems to have integrated very well, enough so that there's little to no trace of an accent. He has a husky sort of voice, and it shows in his laugh as well.Youtube video.

Personality

Very driven in his intentions. When he sets his sights on something, he goes for it. He can adapt to how the scenario changes to make it work for himself, like using Guy to get the book, or adjusting to life as a vampire baby making machine. Has a very serious issue with being lied to, especially by those he lets get close enough for a lie to matter. He prides himself on not lying. Doesn't mean he's telling the whole truth, but he's not lying to anyone's face (or back). He is also vengeance-driven. He hunted down the vampire that destroyed his happy little vampire-human cadre, and he blames the Talamasca for the original downfall, so they've gotta go too. (Still working on this)

Abilities

Superhuman Senses

Vampires are stronger and faster than humans by a rather large amount. They can move fast enough that a human can't track their movement with their eye properly. He can hear heartbeats from people inside houses. See the night in a way that makes everything seem alive. He also has the ability of rapid healing.

Telepathy

Jasper is able to read surface level thoughts of those around him. He can also delve deeper if he focuses on someone intently.

Time pause

Jasper has been shown to be able to seemingly pause time around him. When Owen was pouring a drink, the liquid stopped flowing, which is different than holding a human body or consciousness still. It doesn't seem to exert him overmuch when he does it.

I generally write prose as a preference, but I'm comfortable doing brackets.

BACKTAG:

Up to a point. If it's regularly getting to be a month or two between tags, I'd prefer to drop it or start something new. I understand that life is life and it's more important than RP, but if it's consistently late, I find I have a harder time keeping track of where we are and the mood of the thread.

THREADJACKING/FOURTHWALL:

OFF LIMITS:

No predatory sexual grooming, especially of a minor or someone mentally incompetent. No mucus/spit/snot. No using the word 'gash' in place of female genitalia.

ASSUMED CR:

Case by case. If it's a canon I know, I'm quicker to be able to tell if it'll play well. If it's not, then I might need a rundown or a few threads to figure out where they'd go.

FACETWIN:

No. I'm okay with 'you're familiar if I look at you at this angle', but no 'you're xyz from my canon'.

IN CHARACTER

PHYSICAL CONTACT:

Allowed, but within reason. He's not going to be accepting hugs left and right, but he likes shoulder patting and casual petting. He sometimes forgets about 'personal space'. WTF is that? Sounds made up.

MENTAL CONTACT:

Vampire rules dictate that they cannot talk mind to mind with their Makers or their fledglings. Outside of that, vampires can read other vampires as well as humans, either casting a broad range or focusing on one voice specifically. I'd imagine the older the vampire, the more control they have of being able to shield themselves, but Jasper in vampire terms is relatively young. A being skilled at telepathy would likely be able to read his mind.

FLIRT:

He's an old hat at flirting, but he doesn't always play the game unless he's in the mood. If it serves his purpose, he's good with it.

FIGHT:

He's used to being the aggressor in a fight, and also used to coming out on top. He's not afraid to fight dirty, and he takes a loss with a grain of salt. Even if it's with a flamethrower.

INJURY:

Yes. Give and take. He can dish it and take it.

DEATH:

I'd like to avoid death if possible. It hasn't happened in canon (so far) and I'm not interested in ending him.

GENERAL PREFERENCES:

I'm thinking he leans towards women, but there seem to be so many more vampire men around, and bloodletting/feeding has an edge of sexual violence to it that vampires find satisfying. So he very likely also enjoys the company of men as well. He seems like he runs more on instinct in what he wants than by any standard gender norms. Sexuality becomes fluid after the first century.
